April is National Poetry Month, so today's healing words is the poem "The Guest House" by Rumi. This is a beautiful poem about living in a mindful way. In this poem he talks about welcoming everything in with gratitude. Sometimes it's difficult to look at negative circumstances, like an illness, with gratitude, but when you shift your perspective and see that it is a "guide from beyond," as Rumi so wisely says, you can look for the meaning and change your life. This poem is about the varied experience of life and how everything has its time and place, but that we have the opportunity to be grateful for it all. What are your thoughts on these healing words?
