Always practice self-compassion first. The best way to do that is develop strong boundaries. The more you practice this, the more you develop self-trust, which turns into self-compassion. It's a beautiful cycle that keeps you content and full of worthiness.
Today's words are by Brené Brown from Rising Strong: How the Ability to Reset Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead.
Healing Words is an ongoing series with the intention of once a day shifting focus away from suffering and onto healing. Healing is a daily practice of listening to your inner voice and turning pain into purpose.
Please feel free to share words that have helped you heal or your thoughts on these healing words.
