Today is Easter Sunday. As a Unitarian Universalist I don't celebrate the resurrection per se, but I celebrate the renewal of life in all its forms: spring, nature, healing, reinvention, change, growth...This is such a beautiful time of year filled with hope and light.
Yesterday I went to the Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island in Washington. We took a two mile walk through meadows, trees, and near Puget Sound. The trees were budding and flowers were coming up from the ground. Everywhere I looked there was renewal.
