Lately I've been thinking about change and how change happens. It's starts with letting go of the belief that things will always be the same and then cultivating the belief that we can change. Most of us try to make changes completely on our own. And while that works in the beginning, eventually old habits creep back in. When you are trying to make a change enlist the love and support of those around you. Maybe they can offer you an ear to listen or advice from personal experience. One day you will return the favor. Change happens in relationship.
Healing Words is an ongoing series with the intention of once a day shifting focus away from suffering and onto healing. Healing is a daily practice of listening to your inner voice and turning pain into purpose.
Please feel free to share words that have helped you heal or your thoughts on these healing words.
