These words are written on a banner that hangs on the wall at my yoga center. When I read them I knew I was in the right place. I've been practicing Kundalini yoga for almost two months and the more I do it the more I understand this quote.
Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness and it's about listening to your intuition and finding your true identity and purpose. It's the most healing method of exercise I've ever found, but it's not really exercise, it's spiritual practice that involves movement and breath. Although it can be rigorous, all my teachers emphasize only doing what your body allows and not worrying about what anyone else in the room is doing. It's not for everyone, but if it's for you, you will know right away.
