For anyone who has been through a challenge in life, hope becomes your superpower. You earn your cape along the way, and lean on it during the dark times when there is little else to keep you going. The beautiful thing is after you've overcome the challenge (or at least are able to see the other side) you can spread hope to others by saying, "I've been there, and believe me, healing is possible." These words are from Bryan Stevenson, author of Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption. Healing Words is an ongoing series with the intention of once a day shifting focus away from suffering and onto healing. Healing is a daily practice of listening to your inner voice and turning pain into purpose. Please feel free to share words that have helped you heal or your thoughts on these healing words.
