Acceptance is simple as a concept, but difficult as a practice. When things are not exactly as you want them to be, how do you accept that? Maybe the bigger question is: should you accept it? I view acceptance as a lack of resistance. You are supposed to be exactly where you are. Accept where you are in this moment and then, if necessary, find a path to change.
Healing Words is an ongoing series with the intention of once a day shifting focus away from suffering and onto healing. Healing is a daily practice of listening to your inner voice and turning pain into purpose.
