Many words I live by were said or written by Dr. Maya Angelou. I often tell myself, "I did then what I knew how to do. Now that I know better, I do better." I recently heard this quote and it really spoke to me. It's simple, to the point, and a good daily reminder to share the gift of knowledge and other worldly things with others. Giving is a act of gratitude for what you have been given. Today's words are from Dr. Maya Angelou, author of I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. Healing Words is an ongoing series with the intention of once a day shifting focus away from suffering and onto healing. Healing is a daily practice of listening to your inner voice and turning pain into purpose. Please feel free to share words that have helped you heal or your thoughts on these healing words.
