One of the most difficult things to do is have compassion for someone who is oppositional. The truth is we really never know what other people have gone through or are going through. It's a muscle I still need to strengthen and it probably takes a lifetime to master. Try to approach each new person and situation without judgement. Even if the other person is doesn't deserve it at the time, karma will reward you for your empathy.
Today's healing words are from The Ways We Touch, a poetry collection by Miller Williams
