During my sophomore year in college I randomly lost my singing voice. I was in the concert choir and when I opened my mouth nothing came out. This is just one of the many strange symptoms I had over the years that I never knew were related to Lyme disease. When I got a diagnosis in 2016 things started to make sense. Singer, Shania Twain, had a similar experience which she later attributed to Lyme. This post was cathartic for me to write for the, because it helped me process all the health issues I had over the years. We all have different stories, but most of us can relate to years of seemingly unrelated symptoms eventually leading to a Lyme diagnosis. You can read the full post here on the Global Lyme Alliance blog: The Strange Symptoms I Never Knew Were Related to Lyme Disease What strange symptoms did you have before your Lyme diagnosis? How did you feel when they finally made sense? "It's never too late to be what you might have been." - George Eliot
